Also included is our shuttle service, which will take you to and from our local ski lifts each day. There’s absolutely no need to lug your kit to and from a bus stop when you stay at Chalet Beatrice
We offer exclusive use of Chalet Beatrice to groups of 14 people, however if your group is smaller than this and you’d like the chalet to yourselves, please do get in touch.
Our arrival and departure dates during Winter 2016 are on Saturdays, however we do sometimes have short break or weekend ski packages available. Please get in touch for more information.
Children and babies are very welcome at Chalet Beatrice when part of an exclusive booking. Children’s dinner is served between 6pm and 6,30pm each evening and includes 2 courses.
Babies sharing a bedroom with their parents are charged at €100 per week.
Chalet Beatrice is nestled at the heart of the beautiful Alpine village of Montriond, on the outskirts of Morzine. Our luxurious Morzine ski chalet includes 7 double or twin bedrooms, 2 of which are larger than the others and share a big bathroom, making them perfect for family ski holidays.
The Edge Chalet Company is a family business, owned and run by Lindsay McCormack, who lives year-round in Montriond. Also at Chalet Beatrice you’ll find a team of well-trained and dedicated staff, who are experienced in the art of providing the perfect winter ski holiday.
At Chalet Beatrice our aim is to give you an unforgettable winter ski holiday in Morzine. Your luxury holiday will begin with a champagne reception on arrival and you’ll also enjoy our cosy bedrooms, delicious food and private shuttles to and from the slopes.
Families with very small children are welcome here at Chalet Beatrice when part of an exclusive use booking.
The 7 beautiful bedrooms in our Morzine ski chalet can be used as either doubles or twins, while the 2 bedrooms on the ground floor of the chalet share a large bathroom and are accessed from a private corridor, making them perfect for family ski holidays with young children.
All bedrooms in our luxury ski chalet open onto private balconies or garden terraces, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and forests.

The communal space in Chalet Beatrice has been carefully designed to suit both large groups of skiers and independent travellers. Situated on the top floor of the chalet and giving access to three separate balcony areas, our lounge and dining room are centred around our rotating hanging fire place.
Split over 2 mezzanine areas, the lower deck is dedicated to dining and you’ll find a large sofa and 2 armchairs in front of the fire with seating for 6, from which you can admire the views. On the upper deck we’ve included another sofa, beanbags and board games. There’s more than enough space for everyone.
Throughout Chalet Beatrice you can access our free Wifi network. There’s also an iPod docking station in our communal area.
Children (and adults) always enjoy our selection of games on the upper deck of our communal space. These include a Nintendo Wii and a PlayStation, complete with 2 controllers, a steering wheel and a Wii balance board. Please do feel free to bring your own games and accessories along if you wish!
A selection of board games and a chess set are also available, and there’s even a ping pong table in our garage to help you work up a sweat before dinner.
Musicians will find a guitar, a tambourine, an electric keyboard, a recorder and a penny whistle at Chalet Beatrice. Might a fun night has ended with a sing-song!
Just half a level down from the communal area is our well-stocked chalet bar – it’s perfect for those of you who like to play barman. There’s a large selection of wines, beers, spirits and mixers for you to help yourself to, and you settle up at the end of your stay.
Every ski chalet needs space to dry off your ski kit and at Chalet Beatrice, our boot room is the unsung hero of the chalet. You’ll find 2 large boot dryers and plenty of hanging space for gloves, helmets and clothing. There’s also large ski racks and even a sofa for you to sit on whilst wiggling in and out of your boots.
We keep the Chalet Beatrice boot room nice and toasty so you don’t need to take any of your ski kit into your bedrooms.
In our opinion a ski chalet isn’t a ski chalet without it’s own outdoor hot tub for you to relax in after a long day on the slopes. Ours is positioned on a large balcony just off our communal areas, with incredible views towards Mont Chery and the Roc d’Enfer. Even in the coldest temperatures our chalet hot tub will soothe those aches and pains.
On the ground floor of Chalet Beatrice you’ll find our wet sauna, which comfortably seats 4 people. We turn the sauna on at 4pm each day, so it’ll be ready for your return.
Here at The Edge we really do pride ourselves on the quality of our meals and after several years feeding hungry skiers and snowboarders, we know what makes a great menu.

We serve 4 courses on 6 evenings of your stay with us, at around 7pm. Dinner begins with a freshly prepared starter followed by a hearty main course, dessert and then cheese course, accompanied by wines and then coffee. Here are some examples of our imaginative yet tasty evening menus.

Rare Vineyards Malbec 2009
The Argentines have made the Malbec grape a world star, producing soft, supple, velvety wines – a world away from the old-fashioned reds of France’s Cahors where the grape traditionally hails from. This Malbec wine is very much in the New World style – lashings of juicy berry fruit with a lovely enveloping smoothness.
Monastier Shiraz 2009
A lightly oaked Syrah/Shiraz from the Languedoc. It has a lovely vanilla-like point from the oak, marrying beautifully with the soft dark fruit in the wine.
Domaine Preignes le Vieux Alleutier 2009
A superb middle-weight Cabernet Sauvignon-Merlot blend from the Languedoc. It’s got real charm – the typical plumminess of Merlot combined with the Cabernet backbone to give it bite.
Domaine Perillieres AOP Cotes du Rhone Villages 2008
Made from 70% Syrah and 30% Grenache in the Gard region between Avignon and Nimes, this is surely a wine that encapsulates why the Rhone Valley is one of the best sources in the world of accessible, interesting, charming red wines. It’s got body and substance, but it doesn’t knock you off your perch. It’s got flavours of delicious dark candied fruits and sweet cinnamon. Very difficult indeed to resist finishing the bottle… nicely pairing up with some lovely rosemary-scented lamb chops.
